New Book Spanning Wayne Thiebaud’s Career Gives a Peek Into His Slanted and Heavily Shadowed Landscapes

Back in the studio

After spending most of Dec and part of January doing a major studio overhaul I am finally ready to start painting again, it had only been 15 years since my last clean up! 

2015 is going to be an exciting year for me, I have just been given "active status" with the Federation of Canadian Artists http://artists.ca.

Amazing portraits by David Kassan

I accidentally discovered this brilliant artist about a month ago. I am in awe at his ability to paint such stunning portraits. He's posted several video's showing his technique. I've shared a link to one below, it's amazing to see how rough the initial piece starts and how it evolves as he goes. Well worth the 3 minute viewing.
